Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 15 May 2025
This page explains how Thanya Legal uses cookies on our website, what each type does, and how you can control them. We have tried to keep the language straightforward. If something is unclear, please contact us.
3. Your Cookie Preferences
Use the toggles above, or the buttons below, to set your preferences. Your choices are saved to your browser and take effect immediately. You can change them at any time by returning to this page.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our website are set by third-party services rather than by us directly. These include:
- Google Analytics — used to understand website usage patterns. Google's own privacy policy governs how they handle data from these cookies.
- Google Maps — an embedded map on our homepage uses cookies from Google to display the map and record interactions with it.
- Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which may set a cookie. No personal data is stored by this process beyond standard server logs.
We encourage you to read the privacy policies of these third-party services if you would like to understand their practices in more detail.
5. Cookie Duration
Cookies are either session cookies or persistent cookies:
- Session cookies are temporary. They are stored in your browser's memory during your visit and are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period. Our cookie consent cookie, for example, is set to expire after 12 months so that you are not asked again on each visit. Most analytics and preference cookies are persistent with durations typically ranging from 30 days to 2 years, depending on the service.
6. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
All modern browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Below are brief instructions for the main browsers. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how some parts of our website behave.
Open Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. From here you can block third-party cookies, clear all cookies, or manage exceptions for individual sites.
Open Settings → Privacy & Security. Under Cookies and Site Data you can manage cookie settings, clear stored cookies, and set exceptions. Firefox also offers Enhanced Tracking Protection which blocks many third-party tracking cookies by default.
On macOS: open Safari → Settings → Privacy. On iOS: go to Settings → Safari. Both allow you to block all cookies or cross-site tracking cookies, and to remove stored website data.
Open Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data. You can choose to block third-party cookies, clear cookies, and add exceptions for specific sites.
Mobile browsers generally offer cookie management within their settings menus. On Android, look within your browser's app settings. On iOS, Safari settings are in the device's main Settings app. Third-party mobile browsers (such as Chrome or Firefox on Android or iOS) follow similar paths to their desktop counterparts.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to withdraw your consent to optional cookies at any time. You can do so by using the toggles on this page or through your browser settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing that took place before you withdrew it.
You also have the right to request information about what personal data we hold in connection with your use of this website. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for a full explanation of your rights under the Thai Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
If you have questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at [email protected].
